Phil is a highly skilled operator and focused leader and has a wealth of logistics knowledge particularly in European transport with experience spanning over 25 years. Phil work ethic is tireless and very much customer focussed. Time is also found for business development in particular relationship management, a talent as important today as it was on day one.
Responsible for International Forwarding with over 35 years’ experience in freight forwarding, having spent much of that time working in sea & air freight. Tony has hands on approach whether from the desk or on a site visit he will find a solution to suit your needs making the process as smooth as possible including all documentation e.g. Letters of Credit, Licenses etc.

With over 50 years’ experience in freight forwarding which included working for airlines and shipping lines. He has specialist knowledge of shipping vehicles all over the world including F1 cars, high value collections and production vehicles from our blue chip customers. Graham previous experience in CEO roles has been invaluable to BDL.

Focusing on BDL commercial and financial affairs Nigel also maintains an operational interest working on international shipments and project work. Previous experience working for shipping lines and in manufacturing adds further breadth to the team.
A career in logistics which began 14 years ago started in warehouse operations learning the basics, progressing to UK and finally European transport. Now managing a small but growing department his style and development has benefitted everyone.
Managing the finances of a high growth, multi-currency £5million turnover business requires a high level of skill and flexibility. Helen who is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians has over 30 years experience in finance management. Her hands on skills gained working within Healthcare, Manufacturing, Stockbroker and Accounting Practice environments see her as an investment in our future.
Sam has spent over 30 years working in various roles within the service sector. For the last 20 years she has worked as an Executive Assistant at Director level where she has organised conferences, corporate events and seminars. As well as her full time role Sam has been awarded a BEM ( British Empire Medal ) for services to charity.
With great techniques in planning, processing and problem solving, Leya is key in delivering BDL specialist automotive contracts. With nearly 10 years’ experience her excellent supplier and driver management skills ensures a high level of customer communication with our time critical business.
